All students are strongly encouraged to meet with an academic advisor throughout their university years. Academic advising will assist you in making the appropriate course choices for your degree and your career. It will also help you in your professional development as a chemist.
Advising sessions are offered every year close to the end of term 2. Watch the Department events calendar for available dates, and sign-up for a session in the Chemistry Department office (Thorvaldson 165). If you require academic advising at a different time throughout the year, please contact one of the advisors listed below to make an appointment.
Before you come to see an advisor, please bring your unofficial transcript and your program monitor (both available through PAWS; students in Open Studies need to go to the college A&S office). Please take time to prepare yourself before you come to see an advisor. Have a close look at the course offerings.
Our current academic advisors are:
Dr. Steve Reid
Dr. Marek Majewski
Dr. Michel Gravel
